The ESPN National Golf Challenge is an amateur two person better ball tournament designed to find "America's Best 2 Some" in Gross, Net, and now the new Seniors (net only) divisions. In addition to getting out and playing with some friends in a great national event, players also receive some very nice participation gifts.
Find a local site near you, or better yet encourage your home course to participate in our event. Winning teams from the Local events advance to a Regional Finals site in their region and, if successful, compete in our National Finals!
The Seniors (net only) Division is designed specifically for our players who will reach the minimum age of 55 years during the calendar year of their Local event. A forward set of tees approximately 10% shorter that the Gross and Net Division tees will be designated as the Senior Tees during our competitions.

Entry fees are set by the participating Local Qualifying Site. Every participant will receive one dozen of the first line ($50 per dozen retail) Callaway ix Tour Golf Balls at the time of the event. These are just like the ones you'd get in your Pro Shop with no logos and original packaging.
In addition, included in the entry fee for each participant is a subscription form for a 1 year subscription to the award winning Golf Magazine. An annual Golf Magazine subscription normally retails for approximately $20!

The ESPN "Triple Play" option is a great way to enhance your enjoyment of our event. Open to all Divisions, this optional layer (if offered by your Local Site) will allow you to partner with up to 3 partners instead of 1 for a very nominal fee. More specific information can be found on our "Triple Play" page.
What's really great about this feature is it Triples your chances to win and advance to our Regional Finals! Now you don't have decide on a specific partner among your normal group! As an added incentive, every player that elects this option will receive an additional dozen of the Callaway ix Tour balls for their participation.
Regional Finals:
As a general rule, up to 8 teams in various divisions may advance to our Regional Finals from our Local Sites. The actual number of teams depends on the participation at your local Qualifying Site, however each participating site is usually required to advance 2 teams from any combination of our 3 divisions.
Regional Finals Sites are determined based upon numerous factors but typically include the best geographical locations for your Region, based on the Local Site registrations available to us at the time. Please see your Local Site Tournament Director for the additional forms and Regional Entry fee information for regional qualifiers.
Included in the Regional entry fees for 2010:
- Greens fee
- Cart fee
- Practice area / Range balls
- Food and Beverage (determined by the Regional Finals Site)
- Full Tournament Management/Scoring/Officiating
- Custom ESPN Golf Challenge Trophies for top 3 teams in each division
- Gift Bag:
- Entry Fees into National Finals for qualifying teams
Basically, there should be very little additional expense incurred at the Regional Finals Host Site.
National Finals:
It's probably hard to miss that we host our National Finals in fabulous Las Vegas! Treasure Island Hotel and Casino is the Official National Finals Hotel for the ESPN National Golf Challenge. TI serves as the hub for all of our functions and transportation to and from our championship golf courses.
 Speaking of Championship Golf Courses! The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is the Official National Finals Tournament Facility for the ESPN National Golf Challenge. Paiute Golf Resort offers three championship golf courses, all designed by the world famous Pete Dye.
